    Abstract


    Early scholars of Islamic and Arabic teaching and learning had often established fully traditional educational activities, based on their time and ability. This was attributed to what they have rendered to their Ummah and how they secured the classical mode of Islamic, Arabic and Qur’anic teaching, in spite all challenges. their effort assisted in planting the art of Qur’anic schools and Islamic/Arabic scholarship in the whole Northern Nigeria prior to and after Shaykh Uthman bn Foduye’s Jihad, till today their endeavors is been witnessed through Tsangaya, Allo school and Zaure system of education by using non formal syllabus and equipment as was depict in the scenery and the mode of teaching and learning in Tsangaya/Zaure classical activities. Till today the system is functioning and it had led to establishing more institution of Qur’anic and Islamic Arabic learning and remains a legacy generation after generation which today modern Tahfiz schools were established.

    Introduction of the book

    This book includes the introduction to the founder, his lineage, birth and upbringing, his creed, jurisprudential doctrine, Sufism, character, morals, death, factors of his scientific formation, and a statement on the situation of the Hausa emirates before the establishment of the Islamic Foudian movement for reform. It contains a statement about the social, religious and political situation, and it mentions the establishment of the Islamic Foudian movement for reform in terms of Education, advocacy, guidance, the Hijri renaissance, the jihadist renaissance, and the establishment of the Islamic state. He mentioned the characteristics of the Vodiah movement for human development in West Africa according to the Islamic perspective. This development includes the aspect of comprehensiveness, balance, realism, justice, and humanity. Then he mentioned the conclusion and list of references.

    The Islamic Reform Movement is a school of thought and a religious reference for building a comprehensive, advanced Muslim society in all prominent areas of life: educational, religious, social, economic and political. It is an ideal feature in forming a military and administrative entity suitable for all times and places in order to achieve security and peace, provide human development, and create a fruitful future for the present and future generations in Africa and the entire Islamic world in general.

    The researcher has lifted the lid on the Fodian reform movement in this book to show its true images and contributions to building the future of a pure and sincere society, developed in its civilization and culture, using a descriptive approach with analysis in some aspects of the research as required by the situation, the context, and the data relied upon
